Zachariah Robinson, ChFC®, CLU®, RICP®

Financial Advisor/Principal

Zach Robinson is the Principal of Z to A Financial and a Financial Advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC. Steadily guided by his equally artistic and business-driven mindset throughout his entire career, Zach transitioned into finance with a clear purpose: to make a life-changing, positive impact on the people he serves.

Growing up in the Bay Area of California, Zach spent 25 years working in theatre as a director, producer, and actor. He then shifted from theatre to working as an independent contractor and becoming a small business owner for most of his adult life.

In 2014, Zach spent some time reflecting on what fulfilled him as a person. Through that soul-searching, he came up with a solid list and set out to find a role that would allow him to do them all. Just one week later, Zach began his journey at New York Life and has since found his true fulfillment helping clients as a financial advisor.

Zach thrives on the creativity required to match the right financial tools with your specific needs.  Knowing that he’s truly making a life-changing, positive impact in his clients’ lives — whether it is helping someone get started on their journey to financial freedom or paying a claim that helps prevent the family farm from going into foreclosure — is priceless to him.

When you work with Zach, you can expect a holistic, protection-first approach. Instead of looking at a single account or policy in isolation, he reviews your entire financial picture to ensure every recommendation works in harmony with your big-picture, long-term goals.

Outside the office, Zach remains connected to his artistic roots and loves attending theatre productions. Over the past few years, he has taken up golf. Zach and his wife are huge baseball fans. You can almost always find the Seattle Mariners playing on their TV at home — if they aren’t at the game. He is an avid football fan and has enjoyed having Seattle Seahawks season tickets since 2022. Zach also enjoys cooking, wine tasting, and traveling.

Dana Buchman

Office Administrator

They/Them

A born-and-raised Seattleite, Dana Buchman joined the Z to A Financial team in November 2016. They are most passionate about helping our clients get the most out of their assets, regardless of how much or little those assets may be, and making finances more approachable.

Dana’s passion for office support began in K-12 on "Bring Your Child to Work" day. Helping with filing, printing, and watching their mom do magic in Excel sparked Dana’s interest. Every day at Z to A Financial, Dana is offered the reward of connecting with clients. Whether it's via email or over the phone, knowing that the client’s understanding is based on Dana’s effort is a fantastic feeling for them — especially when Dana hears that we explained everything in a way that made sense.

Working with Dana, clients can expect kindness, consistency, and accuracy on the first try. Rest assured knowing your paperwork will reach you in the way that works best for you and will be well-marked with clear explanations on all that you need to complete.

In their free time, Dana enjoys many types of video games and reading. For years, Dana has been volunteering during tax season to help people with low incomes file their tax returns for free. They love that this creates the opportunity to meet so many people, give back by doing something for others that feels daunting, and learn more by working with tax professional managers.
